A father and daughter are stepping up to raise funds for Tiny Seeds, a charity supporting people facing fertility struggles.
For the Fosse family, this cause has a very personal connection – Nina Fosse is in fact the very ‘tiny seed’ that inspired the charity’s name, when founded by Mum, Chloé Fosse shortly after Nina was born. Now she and her dad, Adam, are taking on separate challenges to help the charity grow.
Adam’s Challenge: Running the London Marathon
On Sunday 27th April, Adam Fosse will be running the London Marathon, tackling the 26.2 mile route to raise vital funds for Tiny Seeds. In his 40th year, physiotherapist Adam wanted to mark the milestone by pushing himself to the limit – not just as a test of endurance, but to support a cause that comes from his own experience.
For six years, Adam and his wife Chloé faced their own difficult struggle with secondary infertility while navigating the emotional, physical and financial toll of IVF. Through their experience, they felt first hand the isolation and loneliness that often comes with fertility challenges. That’s why Chloé and her team founded Tiny Seeds, to provide support, connection, and hope for others on the same journey.
Now, Adam is determined to help Tiny Seeds continue to grow, ensuring that no one in Jersey has to face infertility alone. Training hard since securing his spot last year, Adam is hopeful of completing the marathon in under 4 hours while raising important funds for the charity.

Nina’s Challenge: The 1 in 6 Challenge
At just five years old, Nina is proving that even the tiniest seeds can grow into something amazing. She was once a tiny embryo – too small to freeze, with extremely low odds of growing into a baby. But she defied those odds and today, she’s taking on a challenge to help others hoping to do the same.
After hearing about the Tiny Seeds 1 in 6 Challenge which has been taking place throughout March and April, Nina decided she wanted to take part. And, having already proven she likes a challenge, she’s not just doing one – she’s taking on six!
She will finish her challenges with a special walk from Le Port to La Pulente and back on April 13th, and she’s inviting the community to join her in bright colours to celebrate and support Tiny Seeds. To join the walk please meet at Le Port carpark at 9.45am on Sunday 13 th April.
Tiny Seeds exists because of Nina and now she and her dad are taking on these challenges to help others facing fertility struggles too. Between them they have already raised close to £2,000 for the Charity and they would love to see their totals rise even further, helping to provide hope and much needed support to those struggling to grow their families.
Danielle Carpenter, Chair, Tiny Seeds commented: “We couldn’t be prouder of Adam and five-year-old Nina — their incredible efforts show that there’s no age limit when it comes to making a difference. By turning their personal journey into a powerful force for good, they’re embodying everything Tiny Seeds stands for: hope, connection, and courage. I hope their determination inspires many others to get involved, and that we see a wonderful show of support on Sunday 13th April as we walk together to raise vital funds and awareness.”
