The sister company of Fat Rascal, ‘Good Rebel’ has signed a lease to take the café/restaurant at Guernsey’s Admiral Park.
With a high quality, contemporary, fitout now underway, Good Rebel will be opening this summer to provide a central meeting place for all the offices, workers and clientele in the vicinity. Providing a breakaway from the office, with freshly prepared, healthy food, great coffee, Good Rebel’s daytime offer will be complimented by “the Rebel Bar” which will be open late afternoon into early evening, serving craft beer, gin and tonics and small plates for bar dining.
Steve Hopkins, the founder and visionary behind both Fat Rascal and Good Rebel said, “We are incredibly excited to be taking on this brand new site in such a fabulous location. We are looking forward to being a hub for nearby offices, but also offering a great dining and drinks experience for local residents. In fact, we knew exactly the offer we would provide at Good Rebel, the moment the opportunity came up and we cannot wait to open the doors.”
Letting Agent, Jo Watts of Watts Property, said, “From the inception of the Admiral Park scheme, it has been vitally important to identify an occupier to run the café/restaurant, who understands the needs of the community in the vicinity and to provide the quality offer that is expected.
“Steve has the perfect vision to create a relaxed but professional meeting place for those wanting to meet their friends and business acquaintances and to network and do business. Steve already has a fantastic following through the service he offers at Fat Rascal and we have absolutely no doubt that Good Rebel will be just as successful.”
Steve Marie, Managing Director from Developer, Comprop, said, “We are delighted that Steve is expanding his business to Admiral Park, his strategy and offer will be a great compliment to the area in general and will provide a much-needed service to all in the vicinity. The project team are working hard to complete the fit-out of the unit and turn Steve’s vision into reality, we are convinced that this will be a very successful venture.”
