This year’s Saffery Rotary Walk will take place on Saturday 10 June 2023 and will see hundreds of walkers from across the island and further afield take part in the 39-mile challenge.
Registration for the Family Walk is now open, and for just £40 per family entry, islanders can complete one or both of the final two legs of the Walk as a group. Regardless of age or ability, you can take part to raise money for a fantastic array of local charities.
This is a wonderful opportunity for families to have some fun and come together to enjoy the route as a group while taking in the remarkable views our island has to offer.
Lisa Vizia, Director of Saffery Champness, said: “Inclusion and accessibility are at the heart of the Saffery Rotary Walk and so, the participation of family groups is such an integral part of the event.
“The Walk enables families to work together to achieve a shared goal of completing the last two legs as a team while enjoying a fun-filled day out.”
Simon Milsted, the Chair of Saffery Rotary Walk’s organising team said: “For this year’s 25th Saffery Rotary Walk, we want to achieve a record-breaking number of signups. To celebrate this fantastic milestone, it would be wonderful to see many family groups taking part to achieve a common goal of raising money for inspirational local charities.
“It is always enjoyable to witness the camaraderie between walkers as families spur each other on during what is a truly unique and special day.”
