EVie has announced the launch of its innovative A2B service, offering a new and environmentally friendly way to travel across Jersey.

There are almost 20 pick-up and drop-off locations and up to 50 available spaces, supported by a fleet of 26 Micro vehicles. A large part of this has been made possible by EVie’s ongoing and growing relationship with Andium, whose commitment to offering affordable and sustainable transport to their clients has played a key role in expanding the service across the island.

Nick Perchard-Rees, CEO of EVie explained: “We are thrilled to introduce the A2B service to Jersey. A lot of hard work has gone into making this a reality, and I am incredibly proud of the team behind the scenes. They believe in our mission to offer a safer, affordable, and flexible way to move around our beautiful island, all while reducing our environmental impact.

“Of course, we expect to face some challenges, as this is a totally new concept for Jersey, but we are committed to learning, adapting, and always welcoming feedback. Our aim is to create genuine, impactful change, and I want to extend my thanks to all the organisations and government departments that have helped make this possible.”

Michael Ruane, Chief Property & Asset Management Officer at Andium, added: “We are proud of our ongoing partnership with Evie, which forms part of Andium’s overall commitment to supporting the Island’s journey to net-zero. We realise the importance of doing our part in line with the Government of Jersey’s Carbon Neutral Strategy by supporting the creation of sustainable transport options for our clients, and our collaboration with Evie not only aligns with our sustainability goals but also ensures that we are fulfilling our vital role in promoting environmentally friendly travel options for our community.”

Jersey War Tunnels is the first visitor attraction on the island to roll out this service.

Damian Warman, General Manager at Jersey War Tunnels, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are incredibly proud to be one of the first attractions on the island to offer EVie’s A2B service. This partnership not only enhances convenience for our visitors but also aligns perfectly with our commitment to sustainability. We’re excited to introduce this innovative and eco-friendly transportation option, making it easier than ever for people to explore our island while contributing to a greener future.”
