Phantom of The Opera and West End Classics
Music lovers are set for an unforgettable evening of world-class musical theatre as Music in Action presents Phantom of the Opera and West End Classics at the Jersey Opera House on 26 and 27 June 2026, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Seabourn.
Featuring acclaimed West End musical theatre stars Luke McCall and Manon Taris, the concert promises a spectacular showcase of iconic songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera alongside some of the greatest hits ever staged in London’s West End.
Luke McCall is one of musical theatre’s most exciting talents, best known for performing both The Phantom and Jean Valjean in the West End and major international productions. He is the youngest performer ever to have played both roles in the West End, with credits including Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, Titanic the Musical and The Man of La Mancha.
Joining him is French musical theatre star Manon Taris, whose career spans opera, musical theatre and major international productions. Having performed in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera, she went on to play Christine Daaé in the international tour of Love Never Dies. Her credits also include Les Misérables, Sister Act, Beauty and the Beast, Dance of the Vampires and The Little Prince.
Thanks to Seabourn, the production continues Music in Action’s long-standing commitment to bringing internationally recognised artists and outstanding live performance experiences to Jersey. Under the leadership of Chairman, James Mews, the organisation has built a reputation for presenting concerts featuring artists of the highest calibre across classical music, opera, jazz, and musical theatre.
He said: “We are thrilled to bring performers of genuine West End pedigree to Jersey for what promises to be a truly spectacular concert experience. The show celebrates some of the greatest music ever written for the stage, performed by artists who have captivated audiences in major productions across the UK. It’s a must see if you like the West End.”
Seabourn’s Lynn Narraway, VP UK & EMEA said: “As a luxury cruise line, music lies at the very heart of the Seabourn experience. We take travellers to some of the world’s most idyllic destinations, where they enjoy live performances spanning opera, jazz, musical theatre, and piano recitals—whether on deck, in our show lounges, or within the destinations themselves. The music they experience becomes an integral part of their holiday, creating memories that last a lifetime.
“We deeply understand the importance of musical education, which is why we are proud to support the invaluable work of Music in Action, helping to ensure that access to music and its many benefits continues to flourish.”
