How to build a business and marketing strategy the right way
Jo Buchanan, Founder of TwitTwooYou Limited will be co-hosting the talk with strategy expert, Cassidy Mason, Founder of Cassidy Mason Consulting. They will be deep-diving into how businesses can build a business or marketing strategy that drives success.
“According to marketing news website, Marketing Week, around two-thirds (67%) of SMEs have no marketing action plan, with more than half (54%) not even having a business plan,” explained Jo.
“It doesn’t matter the size or industry your business is in, it should have a marketing plan that is centred around SMART goals, that is shared throughout the business.
During our talk, I will explain the key considerations when building a successful marketing strategy and I’ll discuss the key elements to include, and where business should place its focus.”
Before founding Cassidy Mason Consulting, Cassidy gained valuable experience across sales and strategy in various locations, including Jersey, London, and Sydney.
Her career journey saw her lead the launch of an online investment website, transitioning from sales to e-commerce, and relocating from Jersey to London.
During her six years at Groupon, Cassidy rose to the position of Head of Local and National Strategy for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, she oversaw a team of business analysts and strategists, collaborating closely with multiple departments to drive impressive growth rates, creating innovative sales strategies that were rolled out globally.
Jo offers 24 years of strategic marketing experience, having worked in many senior positions for a number of very well-known companies based in the financial services and professional services industries.
Jo is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds Chartered Marketer status. She is qualified in the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing.
Jo supports a number of companies in the professional services sector with content strategy and is a regular contributor to LinkedIn, sharing marketing tips and guidance on how to become more present on the platform and generate greater engagement.
