From The Wizard of Oz to Wicked, West Side Story to La La Land – and many more in between – Hooray for Hollywood brings some of the most beloved songs of our movie-musical lives thrillingly to the stage.
The Hollywood musical has enchanted audiences for almost a century. Since The Jazz Singer burst onto screens in 1927, generations have fallen in love with its irresistible mix of song, dance, comedy and romance. Now, nearly 100 years later, two of the genre’s most passionate and charismatic champions invite audiences to relive that magic live.
Fascinating Aïda’s Liza Pulman joins forces with singer-songwriter and pianist Joe Stilgoe to present a dazzling evening packed with iconic songs, exquisite harmonies and irresistible humour. With no big screen – just big talent – their shared love and encyclopaedic knowledge of movie musicals shines in glorious technicolour.
