Exercise Roadshow 10th Anniversary Tour ‘This is Me’
The Exercise Roadshow was brought about by Janine Bailey and Fay Spencer whose passion for fitness for everyone culminated in the first roadshow around the UK – delivering exercise classes for all.
This year it is celebrating 10 years as a community organisation in the UK and Janine who had not only been working with Jersey Youth Service, but then met local (Channel) swimmer, Sally Minty-Gravett MBE.
It was through their discussions that due to Sally losing her husband 3 Years ago and also being a volunteer for Dementia Jersey, that they decided to bring the roadshow to Jersey and to raise money for Dementia Jersey.
The Roadshow is a combination of short 20 minute fun exercise sessions for everyone – whatever age, shape and size and will be held on Friday 19 May at St Martins Public Hall commencing at 1900 hours and ends at 2100.
This will be two hours of music, fun exercise and dance. This is free as St Martin’s are donating use of the hall free of charge – but we will be collecting donations on the night – we ask for a minimum donation of £10 per person if possible.
You will be able to experience Zumba with Zumba Jersey Claudia; Pilates with Trudi ‘Mrs Menopause’ Roscouet and Yoga with Lisa McCabe. We will also be enjoying Bhangrablaze, rock box and dance fit so make sure you bring those dancing shoes!
The evening will be a fun filled event with choreographed routines from the instructors for your enjoyment!
