Book Reading by children’s author Carolyn O’Boyle
Jersey Festival of Words are starting their literary celebrations early this year, with a book reading session hosted in the new event space at NatWest International in Library Place on Wednesday 23rd August from 11am – 12:30pm.
This is the second reading to be hosted at the new venue, with the first being very well attended.
Local author, Carolyn O’Boyle, will read her debut children’s book, Forget Me Not. This heart-warming story shows just how much our pets mean to us, how they are there for us no matter what, and just how precious memories can be.
Attendees will have the chance to meet the author, ask questions and buy a copy of the book to take home.
This main literary event, which takes place from 15th – 24th September this year, promotes a love of the written and spoken word across our community in a variety of styles and settings, as well as welcoming internationally-renowned authors to our beautiful island.
Tickets are limited for the free children’s summer holiday activity.
