Guernsey artist Tiffany Anna will be painting live in the window of the Outlet Store in Market Square this Saturday 28th August.
Local artist, Tiffany Anna Matthews has had a great response and interest to her live painting stories on social media, so has organised a live paint in St Peter Port.
Tiffany said that she wanted to find somewhere open and accessible to passers-by so that they can stop and take a moment to watch if they wish. Her studio based in Fountain Street has no standing space directly outside so she’s teamed up with the Outlet Store to bring art and fashion together for a colourful and fun shopping experience. Tiffany will be painting two of her most popular original pieces – a jellyfish and a bee.
Tiffany told Channel Eye: “This idea has come about after hearing so many positive comments about my live videos on social media. I’ve always found painting really therapeutic but didn’t realise the calming effect it had on others. I’m hoping that my passion for art and painting may spark some inspiration in others but overall, I hope it brings some smiles and adds a bit of fun to people’s Saturday shopping.”

Art and fashion definitely go hand-in-hand regarding creativity and expression but it’s also great to be able to support another fantastic local business.”
