Entry is now open for the increasingly popular Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (Cannacord) Inter-Firm Relay which will see corporate teams of runners tackling the St Peter Port street course on Tuesday 17 July 2018.
This is the 15thyear that Canaccord has sponsored the event, which sees teams of four each running the one-mile loop around the town, including the challenging final climb up Smith Street, to hand over the baton to the next team member.
The event, organised by Guernsey Athletics, takes place at 6.30 pm and sees much of St Peter Port closed for spectators to enjoy the action. There are three entry categories: men, women and mixed teams, with entry costing £20 per team. Because of the increasing popularity of the event and the numbers involved, only advance online entries will be available this year. Paper entries and on-the-day sign-ups are no longer available.
A record number of 57 teams took on the gruelling one-mile loop last year with the BWK men’s team claiming line honours, Wacky Racers the first ladies team home and Specsavers enjoying the mixed event honours.
