Eight members of Ogier’s Jersey office have progressed to new roles across the firm’s business services, corporate administration and legal teams.
Within Ogier Global, James Philpott and Tom Williamson have been promoted to Manager, Danielle Sangan to Assistant Manager and Jake Prince to Administrator.
James has been responsible for fostering strong relationships with key real estate clients which has facilitated a substantial amount of organic growth, whilst Tom is praised by colleagues and clients for his calmness and professionalism, and will play a central role in the Ogier Global corporate team in this new position.
Danielle has achieved significant industry acclaim for her academic performance, having picked up various global awards with ICSA during her studies, and in her new role will be part of the Ogier Global private wealth team; and Jake has made a substantial impact since joining Ogier Global 18 months ago and is now Administrator in the real estate administration team.
In Business Services Lorna Forrester has been appointed Communications Manager, Annu Rani has been promoted to Management Accountant and Jonny Singleton has been promoted to Senior Administrator in the ‘Take On’ Team.
Lorna joined Ogier in May 2017 as Marketing Executive before she progressed to Senior Marketing Executive, where she guided the firm’s award-winning social media strategy. As Communications Manager she will be responsible for all aspects of written content creation and distribution.
In her new role Annu will prepare management accounts and manage financial matters for a number of in-house entities. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is sitting her final ACCA examinations later this year. Jonny joined Ogier late 2018 as an Administrator with five years’ experience and a BSc International Financial Services. He has a strong understanding of Jersey’s AML/CFT Handbook and Funds Services Business and Trust and Company Codes of Practice
Finally, in the Local Legal Services team, Emily Holland has been promoted from Paralegal to Trainee Conveyancer. Emily has become a cornerstone of the paralegal programme, central to the development of new team members.
