The Digital Greenhouse is hosting a CV Clinic from 6pm – 8pm on Thursday, 19 December.
If you’re looking for career advice, a career change or would like guidance on crafting a CV for the digital and creative industries, then pop in and speak to professionals from local technology companies.
Representatives from First Central Group, Resolution IT, JT, C5 Alliance and Specsavers will be on hand to offer feedback and advice on how to break into the industry and tell you what they look for in a candidate when they’re recruiting.
Lucy Kirby, Head of Digital at the Digital Greenhouse, said: “The clinic is a great way for people to talk to people who work in the tech and creative industries. There are many incredible tech companies on the island and some great opportunities for school leavers, uni students and people looking to switch careers. The clinic provides a space for people to come down, bring their CV and get some proper first-hand insight into what Guernsey has to offer.”
Dan Edmunds, Development Manager at First Central Group, said: “We’re really looking forward to being at this year’s CV Clinic. We were there last year and it’s great to be able to help potential candidates. It’s also really useful from our perspective to see who’s out there. There’s a lot of talent on the island in the creative and tech sectors and it’s a good opportunity for us to meet them in an informal setting. I’d encourage anyone interested in a tech career on the island to attend.”
