Evan Davis will be attending this year’s Guernsey Literary Festival.
Mr Davis presents BBC2’s flagship current affairs programme Newsnight and the very popular Dragon’s Den. He hosts weekly Radio 4 business discussion programme the Bottom Line. He is a man who combines politics and economics – prior to the Today programme he was the Economics Editor of the BBC, the most senior economics reporter in the corporation.
His latest book covers an issue that is especially close to him. The title is Post Truth: Why we have reached Peak Bullshit and what we can do about it which sets out to explain why there is so much untruthfulness, ‘fake news’ and nonsense in public discourse and why it became more of a concern in the last two years.
His talk will be at St James on Friday 11 May at 8pm.
