Christian Boudin, Chief Compliance Office (Channel Islands), and Simon Kinsella, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (Jersey Branch) at Investec Bank (Channel Islands), have been recognised at the inaugural Jersey Compliance Awards 2026.

Christian was named Compliance Leader of the Year, while Simon won the Training and Development category. The awards, organised by the School of International Financial Services, celebrate excellence across Jersey’s compliance profession and the role it plays in helping to protect clients, businesses, and the island’s strong financial services reputation.

For Investec, the awards reflect the importance of combining strong regulatory standards with clear, practical support for clients. Its compliance team works closely with colleagues across the business to support well-governed decision-making, efficient client service, and access to Investec’s wide range of private banking, lending, and specialist services.

Jane Niles, Chief Executive Officer of Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited, said: “Christian and Simon’s awards reflect the strength of the culture Investec has built in the Channel Islands. Regulation is central to maintaining trust, but it also helps colleagues support clients with clarity, confidence, and care. Their success highlights the quality of our people and the importance we place on strong standards, practical judgement, and long-term client relationships.”

Christian Boudin, Chief Compliance Officer, Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited, said: “Strong compliance is about helping to protect clients and the business while working together with colleagues to deliver a clear and efficient service. This award reflects the commitment of the wider Investec team to high standards, responsible growth, and trusted client relationships across the Channel Islands.”

Simon Kinsella, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited, said: “Training and development gives colleagues the knowledge and confidence to make sound decisions, take ownership and maintain consistently high standards. At Investec, the focus has been on making learning practical and relevant, so teams can support clients efficiently while meeting the regulatory obligations that help protect them. This award reflects Investec’s commitment to professional development and to giving clients confidence that they are supported by people with the right skills, judgement and care.”
