Digital Greenhouse opens applications for 2026 Startup Academy

The Digital Greenhouse has launched its 2026 Startup Academy, aiming to empower Guernsey’s next wave of startup businesses and entrepreneurs.

The Acadamy is an eight-week accelerator programme designed to equip local founders with the tools, frameworks and the network required to scale high-growth ventures in Guernsey.

Applications are now open for early-stage entrepreneurs and innovative business founders across all sectors who are ready to take their ideas from concept to market.

The course, which will start on Thursday 1 October and run for eight weeks, offers a structured hands-on curriculum that helps participants validate their business ideas, tackle core operational challenges and refine their go-to-market strategies. Each accepted business is allocated two participant spaces, allowing founders to attend alongside a co-founder or key team member.

The 2026 programme guides participants through core modules focused on lean startup methodologies, customer discovery, and scalable business design from designing their vision, through to pitching and presentations.

The first seven sessions will take place over lunchtime for approximately an hour and a half, with the eighth session taking place on Friday 27 November (18:00-21:00) for presentations and the course graduation.

Digital Greenhouse manager, Estelle Moseley, said: “Building a startup can often feel like a solitary journey where founders spend too much time inside their own heads. The Startup Academy provides a collaborative environment where local entrepreneurs receive structured guidance, test assumptions with real peer feedback, and gain the confidence to scale their businesses globally from Guernsey.”
