Cucine has hired Jim Harratt as its lead designer, strengthening its kitchen offering as the business continues to grow.
Jim brings nearly a decade of experience as a kitchen designer in the London area, specialising in high-end, design-led projects. With a background in construction, he combines technical precision with a strong aesthetic vision, enabling him to manage projects seamlessly from concept through to completion.
He has worked on a wide range of premium bespoke kitchens, often incorporating mixed materials to create distinctive, functional spaces. A career highlight includes contributing to the design of a kitchen for the film Black Bag, starring Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender. This project required a visually striking result delivered under tight time pressure.
Jim commented: “I’m very excited to be joining Cucine at a time when there is such a strong focus on quality, design and craftsmanship. Moving to Guernsey marks an exciting new chapter in my career, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work closely with clients and create kitchens that are both beautiful and practical.”
Nadine Gavey, owner of Cucine, said: “Jim’s experience in high-end kitchen design and his technical understanding make him a great fit for Cucine. His approach aligns perfectly with our commitment to thoughtful design, excellent materials and exceptional service, and I’m excited to welcome him to the company.”
