Jersey accountancy and advisory firm Layzell & Co has announced the upcoming date for its Business Unboxed event series.
Taking place on Thursday 30 July at the historic United Club in St Helier, and sponsored by financial services organisation Alex Forbes, this edition focuses on business insights, networking, and industry innovation.
The event will be headlined by Kate Armstrong, Founder and former Managing Director of Confused.com. Having joined Admiral Group as its sixth employee, Kate Armstrong was instrumental in its growth and successful flotation before launching the UK’s first online car insurance comparison site. She will sit down with Greg Layzell, CEO of Layzell & Co, for a discussion on digital disruption, scaling a brand, and identifying a gap in the market.
Following the keynote interview, attendees will hear from an expert panel featuring Tim Townsend, Head of Wealth Management and Corporate Consulting at Alex Forbes, and Max Wiltshire, Co founder and Executive Director of Healing Waves. The panel will explore themes of purposeful financial planning, resilience, and community impact.
Through interactive Slido integration, the audience will have the opportunity to submit questions live and steer the conversation.
This edition of Business Unboxed is being held in aid of Healing Waves, a Jersey charity dedicated to providing ‘Ocean Therapy’ for islanders with physical and neurological challenges.
“We are looking forward to hosting the next Business Unboxed and welcoming such an experienced lineup,” said Greg Layzell, CEO of Layzell & Co. “Kate’s journey in the insurance industry offers valuable lessons for business owners, and having Tim and Max on the panel ensures we cover a broad spectrum of what it means to lead with purpose today. We are also very pleased to use this afternoon to support the vital work of Healing Waves.”
