There is strong anticipation amongst the twenty-eight individuals and fifteen companies from the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, shortlisted for the prestigious Citywealth Powerwomen Awards.
These awards, established over a decade ago by multi award winning businesswoman Karen Jones – founder and CEO of Citywealth – recognise the excellence of women in the wealth sector. As well as women, the awards also highlight the contributions of men and companies who support female leadership in the industry.
Indeed, there has been much progress towards equality of opportunities in the workplace over the years. However, in spite of all the positive changes, the percentage of female European financial services directors appointed in 2023 were down to 44% from 51% the previous year. All these brilliant shortlisted individuals and companies will continue to help redress the balance in DEI.
The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2024 will take place on 6th March at the 5 star JW Marriott Grovesnor House Hotel in Park Lane London.
