Channel Islands and UK PR and events agency, Black Vanilla, has announced several promotions this spring.
Chloe Chescoe has been promoted to Account Director and People Lead. Chloe, who has been with the agency for more than four years, has played a key role in client management and expanding Black Vanilla’s presence in the UK. Chloe also supports the Agency Director with HR and operations.
Alec Farrell, Molly Paul and Lucie Stephenson have each been promoted to Account Executive roles in PR, digital and events respectively.
Senior Account Manager Katy Melhuish has also taken on the agency’s AI Lead role, extending the remit of her current responsibilities. As the agency continues to evolve its service delivery to keep pace with technological developments, Katy will be responsible for ensuring the strategic and ethical use of AI across client accounts, content development and advising on best practice use of AI tools within the team.
Agency Director at Black Vanilla, Nichole Culverwell, said: “I’ve been really impressed by the determination and skills development across the team. This has been a significant year for the agency. We’ve taken on new markets, welcomed new colleagues and responded to fast moving changes in how we work – especially around AI and service development. Everyone has stepped up with a great attitude, and these promotions are very well deserved. I couldn’t ask for more from my team.”
Chloe Chescoe, Account Director and People Lead, added: “The additional responsibilities taken on by both Katy and I reflect our growth but also how we are responding to today’s evolving workplace. Harnessing technologies like artificial intelligence is critical to our competitiveness, but equally important is our human capital, culture and the value we place on wellbeing.”
