Channel Eye’s first themed editorial week of 2026 has generated strong reader engagement, highlighting a clear appetite for deeper, thematic insight into the sectors shaping Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Over the course of the Focus on Financial Services last week, industry voices explored topics including international banking, data governance and the growing role of technology in managing complex global assets. The response from readers reflected strong interest in informed, practical insight into the sectors that underpin the islands’ economies.
Following this, Channel Eye is now looking ahead to the remaining focus weeks planned for 2026, which will continue to explore key themes influencing business and professional life across the islands.
The next theme week will centre on Technology and Innovation (week of 22 June), exploring how businesses across the islands are adapting to a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Topics will include the future workplace, cybersecurity and digital resilience, the balance between cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and how innovation in smaller jurisdictions can drive global opportunity.
The week will also provide organisations with an opportunity to share their own perspective, whether through thought leadership, insight into emerging trends, or by highlighting new products, services and approaches shaping the digital economy.
In September, the focus will turn to Legal and Professional Services (week of 21 September), with discussion around the rise of legal technology, the ethical boundaries of automation, cross-jurisdictional collaboration and how firms can future-proof both talent and client relationships.
The series will conclude in December with People, Leadership and Work (week of 7 December), examining leadership in a digital world, attracting and retaining talent in smaller economies, diversity and inclusion, and the growing importance of wellbeing and skills development in the modern workplace.
The programme is designed to showcase not only sector expertise, but also the connections between industries, highlighting how developments in one area can influence others across the islands’ business landscape.
With interest already building around the upcoming themes, Channel Eye is inviting organisations to take part by sharing insight, case studies and informed perspectives. Contributors will form part of a curated week of content, offering a platform to showcase expertise to a highly engaged audience of business leaders, decision-makers and professionals across the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
A limited number of content opportunities remain available across the June, September and December focus weeks. Organisations interested in being involved can contact the Channel Eye team to find out more about how they can contribute.
