Carey Olsen achieves fifth consecutive clean sweep of Tier 1 rankings in Legal 500 UK

Carey Olsen has achieved a clean sweep of 21 out of a possible 21 Tier 1 rankings in the newly released Legal 500 UK 2027 guide.

The firm earned Tier 1 rankings across all of its practice areas as well as 68 individual rankings in Guernsey, Jersey and London, demonstrating the breadth and depth of its offshore legal expertise. Among the individual accolades, Carey Olsen lawyers achieved 17 Hall of Fame rankings, including four promotions; 29 Leading Partner rankings, including a new ranking for David Taylor; and 13 Next Generation Partner rankings, comprising three new entries and one promotion.

In Guernsey, Tom Carey was promoted to the Hall of Fame for Corporate and M&A, Elaine Gray for Employment and Davey Le Marquand for Real Estate. Elliot Aron moved up to Next Generation Partner for Dispute Resolution, and Kim Paiva and Joanna Caen received new Next Generation Partner rankings in Banking and Finance and Private Client, Trusts and Tax, respectively.

In Jersey, Alexa Saunders was elevated to the Hall of Fame for Private Client, Trusts and Tax, and Louise Woolrich received a new Next Generation Partner ranking for Dispute Resolution. In London, Jasmine Amaria retained her Leading Partner ranking.

Jersey

  • Tier 1: Banking and Finance; Capital Markets; Real Estate; Corporate and Commercial; Dispute Resolution; Employment; Family; Investment Funds; Private Client, Trusts and Tax; Regulatory and White-Collar Crime.

London

  • Tier 1: Offshore Firms.
