
Senior Mortgage Administrator
We are seeking a Senior Mortgage Administrator to support the Mortgage Services Manager in overseeing the administration of all mortgages from offer to redemption at Skipton International.
This role ensures excellent levels of customer service and maintains a strong control environment within the Mortgage Services team.
Key accountabilities
- Ensure excellent levels of customer service are maintained.
- Oversee the accuracy of customer transactions, static data changes, and rate changes.
- Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and mandates for self and the wider team.
- Provide oversight and authorisation for higher value transactions.
- Work with the Mortgage Services Manager to develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement in Mortgage Services department.
- Engage with and promote Skipton’s core values of Trust, Ownership, and One Team.
- Champion the customer experience and ensure positive outcomes for customers.
- Deliver excellent service to customers and stakeholders.
- Deal with client queries in a timely and accurate manner via phone, email, and mail.
- Participate in internal audits, regular meetings, and performance appraisals.
- Ensure customer growth and satisfaction, measured via Feefo.
- Handle complaints, dissatisfaction, and compliments effectively.
- Suggest and embrace change to drive high performance.
- Constantly review existing processes and look for ways to improve them.
Essential requirements
- Previous experience in a Mortgage Services environment (candidates with CeMAP or similar qualification are desirable)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding of the conveyancing process in the Channel Islands, UK, and Scotland.
