People Administrator
Skipton International has an exciting opportunity in our People Services Department, supporting the People Officer in all aspects of running in the Operations team.
Key accountabilities
- Assist with the maintenance of People policies, procedures and processes to identify, monitor and manage the People requirements of the company
- Ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence to standards, processes and procedures
- Create, maintain and enhance working relationships with key contacts across the business
- Actively contribute towards departmental plans as guided by your manager. Report progress on performance at regular intervals
- Manage and prioritise own workload taking into account your own objectives
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process
- Assist with ensuring that the payroll system is accurate at all times
- Assist with ensuring that the People system is accurate at all times
- Take responsibility for inputting the monthly payroll
- Actively source and arrange training and development for all colleagues
- Assist with the monthly payroll return/ quarterly returns and ensure they are accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Adhere to CPD (Continued Professional Development) requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures
- Adhere to the Skipton International core values and expected behaviours
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management
Essential requirements
- Desire to gain CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource Practice once probation is complete
- Two years’ experience of working in a generalist role
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- General People Service knowledge
