
Mortgage Service Administrator
Join our dedicated Mortgage Services team in Guernsey as a Mortgage Administrator, where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service from mortgage offer through to redemption.
Reporting to the Mortgage Services Manager, this role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for customer service, and a drive to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values integrity, learning, and customer-centricity.
Key accountabilities
Mortgage services
- Administer all mortgage processes with precision and care.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy in customer transactions, data updates, and rate changes.
- Adhere strictly to internal policies, procedures, and mandates.
- Maintain a strong control environment and uphold customer confidentiality.
Customer experience
- Deliver outstanding service to customers and stakeholders.
- Champion positive customer outcomes and satisfaction.
- Respond to queries via phone, email, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
Team engagement & leadership

Requirements
Essential qualifications & skills
- Minimum of GCSE pass level or equivalent.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and spreadsheets.
- Confident in handling client queries across various communication channels.
Desirable qualifications & experience
- CeMAP or a relevant financial qualification.
- Understanding of the conveyancing process in the Channel Islands, UK, and Scotland.
- Experience in mortgage services or financial operations.
- Familiarity with GDPR and local financial services regulations.
