Director of Commercial Banking – Regional
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Banking leader to join a large and growing banking organisation as Regional Director, leading an established London-based team.
With responsibility for around 15 Relationship Directors and Relationship Managers, you’ll play a key role in delivering the regional growth strategy, developing talent, strengthening client relationships and driving new business across the London market.
This is a high-profile leadership role with genuine scope to influence growth, culture and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Commercial Banking team.
- Deliver the regional strategy and drive sustainable portfolio growth.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, introducers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive new business while maintaining and developing an established client portfolio.
- Support high-quality lending decisions, with a strong focus on credit quality and risk management.
- Work closely with Business Development teams to identify and maximise growth opportunities.
- Champion a collaborative, customer-focused culture and raise the profile of the business across the region.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading successful Commercial Banking or Relationship Management teams.
- Strong expertise in commercial lending, credit analysis, balance sheet lending and debt structures.
- A track record of managing existing portfolios while delivering new business growth.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with a genuine passion for developing people.
