A-Level or university graduates: Junior Portfolio Manager – Property development
I’m currently working with a leading UK bank that is looking to hire a Junior Portfolio Manager into its Development Finance team in Central London.
And importantly – you do NOT need previous property finance experience for this role.
This could be a great opportunity for someone who is early in their career and wants to build a career in finance, or someone who has an interest in property development and wants to learn how the finance behind these projects works.
What are they looking for?
The key requirements are really quite simple:
- A genuine interest in finance, banking or property
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Someone who is comfortable working with numbers and information
- A professional and positive approach
- Any previous financial work experience would be helpful, but is absolutely not essential
- Most importantly, someone who is keen to learn and develop
What would you be doing?
You’ll work alongside experienced Portfolio Managers supporting a portfolio of development finance facilities.
The role will involve things such as:
- Processing customer payments
- Preparing and processing facility and instruction letters
- Supporting customer due diligence, including AML/KYC
- Maintaining accurate client files and records
- Updating internal systems and spreadsheets
- Supporting Portfolio Managers with the day-to-day management of facilities
- Helping the wider team during busy periods
You’ll receive training and support as you develop your understanding of development finance, banking and portfolio management.
This is a genuinely entry-level opportunity, so if you have good academics, strong attention to detail and an interest in finance or property, I’d be very interested in hearing from you.
3 days per week in the office – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
