Four team members at TCS have reached professional milestones, highlighting the company’s commitment to training and development.
Operations Manager, Millie Goubert, achieved 98% in her Level 4 Financial Statements for Micro & Small Businesses qualification. This is one of the highest technical qualifications offered by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). It focuses on preparing and interpreting financial statements for micro-entities and small businesses, in line with UK accounting standards. Millie joined TCS in 2020 as an Accounts Assistant and has progressed through the company quickly. She was named ICB Student of the Year 2024 and sits on the ICB Advisory Council.
Accounts Manager, Hannah Sarre, has achieved a major professional milestone by qualifying as a certified bookkeeper after passing her ICB Level 3 Bookkeeping & Accounts qualification, earning the professional designation MICB. This is the core qualification which equips members with the skills to produce and submit VAT returns, control sales and purchase ledgers, post year-end adjustments, and prepare final year-end accounts.
TCS Founder, Tim Chilestone, has achieved full membership status with the ICB, earning the professional designation C.MICB PM.Dip. This milestone recognises bookkeepers who have successfully demonstrated advanced technical ability, professional practice skills and ongoing dedication to the profession. Earlier this year, Tim was also awarded companionship status, acknowledging his excellence in practice management and his sustained contribution to the bookkeeping community.
Payroll and Accounts Assistant, Zoe Welch, has also completed her Level 3 Diploma in Payroll Management, achieving 94% and earning ICB Payroll Agent membership status. This qualification covers both theoretical knowledge and practical application, including the use of HMRC tables and the online handling of payroll matters.
Millie said: “It’s amazing to see so many of us achieving such significant milestones at the same time. We all know how much work goes into these qualifications, so being able to celebrate each other’s successes makes it even more special.”
