Boatworks+, Guernsey’s leading provider of marine services and chandlery, has appointed a General Manager to implement the local business’ exciting growth plans.
Stuart Tucker will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations at Boatworks+. His role will include engaging with customers and suppliers and meeting strategic and operational targets for the business.
Stuart has extensive management and electrical engineering experience and joins Boatworks+ from Guernsey Electricity where he worked as a manager for 15 years and was involved in large-scale projects including high-end residential developments and solar panel installations.
Stuart has a Chartered Institute of Building qualification and various health and safety management qualifications. He holds Royal Yachting Association (RYA) qualifications including RYA Yachtmaster theory and has been a crew member of the St Peter Port lifeboat for the last 16 years. Stuart is a helm on the Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat.

Boatworks+, based at Castle Emplacement, is a one-stop marine services centre and an important landmark on the southside of St Peter Port harbour. It has been Guernsey’s leading provider of maritime repairs and maintenance programmes for over 30 years.
