Blue Islands has been contracted by Jersey’s government to maintain lifeline links with the UK.
As only essential travel is permitted under restrictions to contain the coronavirus outbreak, passengers wishing book must submit their reasons for travel on the Blue Islands website. The government will then provide eligible travellers with a unique code to book a qualifying seat.
Senator Lyndon Farnham, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture said, ‘Maintaining lifeline air links during the pandemic are imperative to ensure access to and from the island for essential work, medical and compassionate grounds. I would like to thank Blue Islands and commend all those working on the front line to maintain these essential services.’
