BBC TV presenter Anita Rani, best known for appearances on Countryfile and The One Show is swapping the studio for a luxury travel agency in Jersey.
She’s in the island today (Monday) for the official launch of the Channel Islands Co-operative Society’s Travelmaker by Design and Kuoni’s store in Colomberie, followed by an event at The Club Hotel & Spa to help celebrate.
The store, which first opened towards the end of last year, offers a new booking experience in luxury travel with stylish décor, complimentary champagne, impeccable service and expert knowledge from personal travel professionals, providing a one-of-a-kind travel booking experience on the island.
The store boasts three travel experts, Julie Law, Kim Luce and Anne Riant, who between them have over 90 years’ experience in the travel industry and have travelled extensively throughout their careers. This means not only will clients enjoy an extra special in-store experience, they will benefit from bespoke service and extensive expertise.
Carl Winn, Head of Travel at The Channel Islands Co-operative Society said: “It is a great privilege to welcome Anita to join us for this special evening to celebrate our official store opening. It also gives our valued customers an opportunity to ask Anita questions about her travels and on the places she would recommend.”
“As a brand we try to offer customers a truly luxurious travel experience that will leave them with memories for a lifetime. Hearing first hand stories from someone who is as well travelled as Anita will be a one-off experience for our customers to truly enjoy and learn from.”
