Barclays is bringing its successful Eagle Lab formula to Guernsey.
The bank has collaborated with the Digital Greenhouse and the Committee for Economic Development to launch a Barclays Eagle Lab in Guernsey. This is part of its drive to help entrepreneurs, businesses and the local community to create, innovate and grow.
Barclays Eagle Labs are a community resource which offer a range of services including mentoring, training workshops and support for start-up and scale-up businesses.
The Barclays Eagle Lab in Guernsey will be based in Market Square at the Digital Greenhouse.
Gez Overstall has been appointed by Barclays as the Eco-system Manager. He is an experienced technology industry professional, having worked in sales and business development for JT and latterly Infrasoft Technologies. He also holds an MBA from the University of Southampton.
Mr Overstall’s role will be to ensure that that Eagle Lab is a fully functional and supportive space for collaboration and creativity for all co-workers, members, and visitors.

Their aims fit hand in glove with many of those we are working to achieve in our Digital Strategy.”
