Baker Tilly Channel Islands renews brand ambassador partnership for 2026
Share on LinkedInTwitterFacebookEmail

Baker Tilly Channel Islands has announced the continuation of its partnership with professional golfer Laurie Canter, who will remain the firm’s Brand Ambassador throughout 2026.

Laurie returns to compete on LIV Golf for the 2026 season, having been one of the original players when the league was first established. Since its launch, LIV has become an established and influential part of the global professional golf landscape, featuring a team-based format, an international schedule and many of the world’s leading players.

In addition to his LIV commitments, Laurie will also compete in selected DP World Tour events and major championships, including The Open and the U.S. Open. During the non-LIV events, the Baker Tilly Channel Islands brand will feature on Laurie’s electronic golf bag display, providing visibility at some of the most prestigious tournaments in world golf.

Ewan Spraggon, Managing Director of Baker Tilly Channel Islands, commented: “Our partnership with Laurie has never been just about a logo – it’s about alignment in standards, mindset and long-term ambition. As a firm, we invest in people and relationships. We back individuals who demonstrate resilience, discipline and the ability to perform under pressure. A change in tour does not change those qualities.

“In the Channel Islands, we advise clients operating in complex, international environments where judgement matters and preparation is everything, delivered through experienced, director-led teams. That same performance mindset is what we see in Laurie. We are proud to continue working with him in 2026 and look forward to welcoming him back to Jersey to spend time with our team and clients.”

Laurie Canter added: “I’m delighted to continue my partnership with Baker Tilly Channel Islands, and a team I have great affection for. There is a clear alignment in mindset – preparation, adaptability and striving for consistent excellence. I value the long-term relationship we’ve built and look forward to continuing it throughout 2026 and beyond.”
