Baker Tilly Channel Islands has announced its participation in Greening Jersey, supporting environmental recovery and rewilding efforts across the island.
Greening Jersey has been established to promote environmental recovery and chiefly, the rewilding of Jersey, through partnerships with local charities including the National Trust Jersey and Jersey Trees for Life.
The initiative aims to bring together the financial services industry to pool resources and help transform and rewild sites across the island, with benefits that will be seen for generations. This is not just about planting trees; it is about restoring nature across a range of habitats, from woodlands to wildflower meadows and wetlands.
Ewan Spraggon, Managing Director at Baker Tilly Channel Islands, commented: “We are delighted to be part of the Greening Jersey initiative, which represents a fantastic opportunity for Jersey’s financial services industry to come together and make a tangible difference to our Island’s environment.
“At Baker Tilly Channel Islands, we are committed to supporting sustainable development, and this partnership allows us to contribute to the rewilding and restoration of vital habitats across Jersey. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the collaboration and shared vision driving this initiative forward.”
