Aztec Group has appointed Sangjune Park as Chief Architect and Data Director.
Sangjune Park (pictured) will lead the firm’s data strategy and capabilities, with responsibility for how data is used across the business to support decision-making, operations and client services.
His appointment forms part of Aztec Group’s wider investment in technology, data and automation.
“As the alternatives market becomes more complex and data-driven, the ability to harness data effectively is central to how we deliver value for our clients,” said Jason Adams, Chief Technology Officer at Aztec Group. “Sangjune brings deep expertise across data, architecture and technology strategy, and his appointment reflects our continued investment in our data capabilities to provide clients with access to trusted information, helping them to unlock insights and make better decisions.”
Sangjune has experience leading technology and data projects within regulated organisations.
Most recently, he worked at Just Group, where he worked with the CEO and executive leadership team on enterprise architecture and data strategy.
During his career, he has also led technology modernisation projects, worked on data governance frameworks and developed data capabilities across organisations.
“I’m excited to be joining Aztec at such an important stage in its evolution,” said Sangjune Park. “The business has a clear vision, strong culture and a genuine ambition to redefine the future of premium fund administration, and data has a fundamental role to play in achieving that. I look forward to working with colleagues across the business to strengthen our data capabilities, support innovation and help deliver the next generation of technology-enabled client service.”
