Good news for animal-loving travellers as Aurigny are now allowing pets on board Jersey and Southampton direct services from Guernsey.
While just limited to cats and dogs, for the time being, the airline is allowing one pet per flight, which will will travel in a cage in the front hold.
Previously, people wanting to travel to the UK or Jersey with their pets, or those buying animals off-island, would have to rely on often lengthy ferry journeys. The services to Southampton and Jersey are amongst Aurigny’s shortest flights, offering pets a briefer, less stressful experience.
Booking a cat or dog on board a flights can be done online for flights after the 29 of March 2020, or by telephone prior to that date. Pets can travel from around £35 each way.
