Jersey’s Ambition Accountancy has announced another new appointment to its growing team with the arrival of Jodie Lynam as Accountant.
Bringing more than 30 years of accountancy experience, Jodie (pictured) will play a key role in supporting the company’s local corporate clients with bookkeeping, taxation, and preparing annual accounts. Jodie will also support the wider team in growing the firm’s client base.
Jodie began her career at international auditing and advisory firm Moores Rowland, where she qualified as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. She’s since built a trusted reputation working with prominent local firms including Jackson Fox, BBA, and Simalls, where her decades of experience and commitment to excellence have helped Jodie form lasting partners.
“Now feels like the ideal time to join Ambition and be part of an impressive growth story,” commented Jodie. “In our industry that’s not possible without commitment, trust, and an adaptable approach to client servicing, all of which I’ll uphold in this new role.”
Jim McCartan, Founder and Director of Ambition Accountancy said: “Jodie’s arrival signals our intent for 2025 — to expand our team with the best talent so we can reach more clients across Jersey that demand bespoke financial strategies and expert guidance.
“With her vast experience and personable nature, Jodie is the perfect fit to deliver on the high standards we insist on.”
Jodie becomes the second recent new hire to the Ambition Accountancy team, following the appointment of Mark Le Cornu as director in early January.
“Jodie’s arrival deepens the impressive experience already seen across the Ambition team while adding new specialisms to our toolkit,” added Mark. “We want to be seen as more than a service provider but a partner that’s capable of securing our clients’ financial future. Jodie will help us to achieve exactly that for more businesses across Jersey.”
