Albany Trustee Company has received the Laserfiche Run Smarter Programme of the Year Award at the Laserfiche Empower 2026 conference in Las Vegas.

The annual event attracts around 1,800 Laserfiche users from around the world to exchange experiences and learn about developments to the platform.

Albany was one of seven organisations or individuals recognised at the event for their use of Laserfiche. The company was supported by Delimited IT Solutions, the platform’s official solutions provider for the Channel Islands.

Justin Guilbert, Managing Director of Delimited IT Solutions, said: “We were delighted to support Albany in moving from paper-based processes to digitised, automated workflows, helping improve efficiency, traceability and governance across the organisation.

“We’ve delivered complex IT programmes for many years, including data architecture, systems integration and enterprise process automation and document management, with particular depth in the trust and corporate services sector. That experience means we can implement solutions in a way that fits existing operational needs and regulatory requirements.”

Amanda Crowther-Martel, Director of Albany Trustee Company, attended the conference to collect the award and spoke at a Financial Services User Group session about the company’s implementation of the platform.

She said: “We were utterly delighted and surprised to have been chosen for this award, given we are at the start of this journey following our migration from a shared-drive environment with limited permissions to a centralised repository in a document management system.

“One of our most measurable achievements, utilising both the benefits of Laserfiche and the skills of Delimited, relates to one of the banks we work with. We are now able to pull all of the ‘paperwork’ directly from their server, bring them into our environment and file them all directly in the correct location within the repository.

“For this one bank we have gained in the region of 140 hours per year back of both reception and bookkeeping time, where staff were scanning, renaming and filing all these documents.”
