Aladdin’s Cave has announced Alfie Papworth as its first Toy Ambassador following a popular island-wide competition.
After Aladdin’s Cave shortlisted the entries down to 10 finalists, the public were invited to cast their votes. Alfie secured the top spot with an impressive 644 votes out of a total of 2,657.
Alfie’s winning entry showcased his creativity, confidence and passion for toys which made him stand out to both the judges and the community.
“We’re pleased to announce Alfie Papworth as our very first Toy Ambassador,” said Aladdin’s Cave operations director Natalie Maides. “Alfie’s enthusiasm really shone through in his video entry, and the response from the public has been fantastic. We’re so proud of all our finalists and hugely grateful to everyone who took the time to enter and vote.
“This competition has brought so much fun and excitement, and we can’t wait to see Alfie in action. Keep an eye out for his toy reviews coming soon!”
As Toy Ambassador, Alfie will:
- Review toys in regular videos
- Be featured in Aladdin’s Cave marketing
- Take part in in-store demo days and events
The competition, open to children aged 6 to 12 living in Guernsey, received over 30 entries.
Alfie will begin his new role in September and will represent Aladdin’s Cave for up to 12 months.
