New airline to launch Jersey to Alderney service in 2020
Share on LinkedInTwitterFacebookEmail

Air Alderney has announced it will start operating flights between Jersey and Alderney in February 2020.

It will be the first time a regular service has been in operation between the two islands since 2007, and the airline has also revealed ambitions to introduce routes to Cherbourg and Guernsey.

Announcing the news, an Air Alderney spokesperson said: ’We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters, it’s taken longer than we all had hoped when we first started this project over two years ago but we truly believe in Alderney’s ability to prosper once a sustainable air service has been established, we are very much looking forward to being part of the Alderney story.’

An exact start date, schedule details and pricing information has not yet been released, but the new airline will operate a desk from the Jersey Aero Club and has added two piston-driven BN-2B Islanders to its fleet of aircraft.
