Accelerate has welcomed Laura MacDonald as HR and Operations Manager.
Laura (pictured) brings more than 15 years’ experience supporting local organisations with people, processes, and operational management. Her career has spanned senior roles across Government and school environments, legal and professional services, as well as safeguarding positions across multiple sectors.
Alongside her professional career, Laura is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders. She has established her own platform to create mentorship opportunities connecting students with local businesses and helping young people gain insight into the world of work.
Laura said: “People are at the heart of every successful organisation, and investing in HR and a positive working culture should be viewed as an investment in the future of the business. I’m excited to join Accelerate at a time when the business is expanding and to help build the people, culture and operational foundations that will support both our growth and our clients.”
