Jersey professional Katy Ringsdore has been appointed Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at South East Water.
Katy (pictured) will join the water company’s Executive Team in September, taking responsibility for its corporate affairs strategy, including communications, stakeholder engagement and reputation management.
She joins from Pennon Group, where she was Group Director of External Communications across its water businesses, including South West Water, Bristol Water, Bournemouth Water and SES Water.
A former broadcast journalist, Katy has more than a decade of media experience and has worked in communications roles involving reputation, political scrutiny and stakeholder engagement in regulated industries.
South East Water supplies customers across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
Katy said: “There has never been a more important time for water companies to listen to the communities they serve and demonstrate through their actions that they understand customer expectations. Rebuilding trust must run through every decision an organisation makes.
“My focus will be ensuring our communities have a strong voice in those conversations and that we are open about both our progress and where we have more to do.”
