Jersey-based tech firms VMease and Logiq have announced a strategic partnership.

The collaboration is aimed at helping Channel Islands organisations modernise infrastructure while retaining greater control over data and operations.

Built around sovereign deployment and open standards, the VMease platform enables organisations to run enterprise cloud infrastructure on-premises, while Logiq provides consulting, implementation and managed services across cloud, infrastructure, security and digital transformation projects.

The partnership brings together VMease’s private cloud platform with Logiq’s expertise in infrastructure, cloud transformation and managed services. The combined offering is designed to help organisations reduce reliance on legacy virtualisation platforms, lower costs and simplify operations at a time when many businesses are reassessing their infrastructure strategies.

Many organisations are facing challenges linked to rising licensing costs, vendor lock-in concerns and growing operational complexity following recent changes in the virtualisation market.

VMease’s platform addresses these issues through:

  • AI-driven automation designed to reduce operational overhead
  • A simplified, modern user experience
  • Lower costs compared to more traditional platforms
  • Full on-premises and sovereign deployment capability
  • The ability to maximise and extend existing infrastructure investments

Under the partnership, Logiq will provide consulting, migration, implementation and ongoing managed services to support organisations transitioning to the VMease platform.

Initially, the collaboration will focus on organisations in Jersey and the wider Channel Islands, particularly in regulated sectors including financial services, government and critical infrastructure.

The combined offering is intended to help organisations:

  • Reduce infrastructure and licensing costs
  • Simplify private cloud operations
  • Maintain data sovereignty and operational control
  • Reuse existing hardware investments
  • Avoid unnecessary vendor lock-in

Paul Acton, Founder & Executive Director of VMease, said: “We are seeing a clear shift in the market as organisations look for alternatives to legacy virtualisation platforms.

“Partnering with Logiq allows us to combine our technology with a trusted, locally based delivery partner that understands the needs of Channel Islands organisations.

“Together, we can help customers reduce costs, simplify operations, and regain control of their infrastructure while maintaining sovereignty and flexibility.”

The partnership also forms part of VMease’s wider strategy to expand into the UK, EU and international markets through specialist cloud and infrastructure partners.

James Hope, Founder & Director of Logiq, added: “Our clients are under real pressure dealing with rising licensing costs, increasing operational complexity, and the need to demonstrate data sovereignty to regulators and clients alike.

“VMease gives us a modern, credible alternative to put in front of them, as let’s face it, a cloud migration isn’t right for everyone. We’re not just recommending a platform; we’re backing it with our own expertise and reputation.

“This is a partnership we’re genuinely excited about.”

VMease is a Jersey-based software technology company delivering an AI-driven private cloud management platform built around sovereign deployment and open standards.
