Appleby has announced the promotions of James Gallimore to Senior Associate within its Guernsey Dispute Resolution team and Inyeneobong Udoh to Senior Associate within Jersey’s Corporate team.
James (pictured) joined Appleby in 2023, advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues for a wide range of clients including international companies and financial institutions. He has worked on Employment Tribunal claims relating to unfair dismissal, sex discrimination and disability discrimination, and has experience on multi-jurisdictional employment projects and undertaking corporate support work.
James also drafts employment-related documentation, such as contracts of employment, HR policies, director’s service agreements and settlement agreements.

Inyeneobong is known for his ability to provide creative solutions to meet legal and commercial objectives. He advises on key aspects of corporate transactions including M&A, corporate restructuring and re-organisations. He also advises on a broad range of financing matters including structured finance and corporate lending.
With prior experience handling large-scale commercial disputes, he understands the market within which clients’ businesses operate and employs this foresight in advising against potential pitfalls.
Before joining Appleby, he practised in Nigeria for five years and advised on a broad range of transactions impacting the Nigerian and wider African market.
