TIG.je launches to bring dedicated local online marketplace to Jersey
Share on LinkedInTwitterFacebookEmail

TIG.je, a new online marketplace built specifically for Jersey, has officially launched.

Part of the Trade It Group, TIG.je is the dedicated Jersey sister platform to TIG.gg, extending a Channel Islands marketplace that already connects thousands of buyers and sellers every month in Guernsey. The platform currently has over 14,000 registered accounts.

TIG.je is designed to support buying and selling across a wide range of categories – from cars and furniture to sports equipment, electronics and jewellery. It operates independently from social media platforms and is local-first by design. Access is restricted almost entirely to users within the Channel Islands, with no overseas sellers, helping to reduce scams and irrelevant enquiries.

Speaking about the launch, Director and Owner of TIG, Adrian Welch, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring TIG.je to Jersey. The platform has been built to support proper local trading, creating a trusted environment where people in the Channel Islands can buy and sell with confidence, free from anonymous messages and designed specifically for the way island communities trade.”
