Commenting on her appointment, she said: “Jersey Chamber is at the very centre of commerce in Jersey, it is totally independent of government and represents businesses large and small throughout the island.

“In the changing and challenging times we live in Chamber is rightly the go-to forum of business acumen to steer us through. As the oldest English-speaking Chamber in the world, it’s a great honour to be part of such valued organisation.”

President of Chamber, Eliot Lincoln thanked former VP Mark Cox for his work over the past 18 months. “Mark has been a fantastic support and we are very grateful for the time and effort he has given to Chamber,” Mr Lincoln said.

“Jennifer will be Vice President until May of this year and then become our next President for the next two years,” he added, “and I have no doubt will continue to ensure we continue to interact, inform and influence in the business of Jersey”
