Tourism Management Board provides £123,000 of funding for Guernsey projects in 2026

The Tourism Management Board has awarded grants totalling £123,000 to help fund a variety of local events and activities for 2026.

The funds, allocated by the Committee for Economic Development and distributed by the TMB, provides financial support for local projects that align with the Board’s aims to improve and enhance the visitor experience, with a particular focus on increasing growth in the shoulder months. All with a view of attracting more visitors to enjoy and make the most of our islands and celebrate our rich heritage, culture, food, and sporting communities.

The Board received 41 applications in total for the funding, with 18 organisations receiving grants to support their events and activities planning for this year. These organisations are:

  • Art for Guernsey – Street Art Festival in the Old Quarter
  • Arts Sunday
  • Beanjar Jamboree
  • Classic Channel Regatta Ltd
  • Cricket – under 19s
  • EDABL Seafront Sundays (pictured)
  • Badminton
  • Barbilliards open weekend
  • Guernsey Air Display
  • Guernsey Rally LGB
  • Guernsey Street Festival
  • Heritage boat display at Arts Sunday
  • La Beltane Festival
  • St James Events – Global Collection Festival
  • Vale Earth Fair
  • Walking Festivals
  • Channel Islands Pride
  • Live @ the Manor

Charlie Walker, Co-Chair of the Tourism Management Board, said: “This year has seen the largest number of grant applications to date, which just goes to show how many exciting events and activities are happening across our Islands and the sheer breadth of what we offer as a tourist destination.

“The Board is delighted to continue offering our support to local organisers and build on the momentum of what was a promising tourism season in 2025.”
