EVie has announced the launch of a new electric vehicle location at Salerie Corner, continuing the expansion of its shared electric transport network across Guernsey.
The new site includes one electric car, one electric van and a dedicated EVie charger, providing residents and businesses in the area with convenient access to zero-emission transport for everyday journeys, practical trips and flexible travel needs.
Speaking about the launch, Nick Perchard-Rees, CEO of EVie, said: “The launch at Salerie Corner is another step in making shared electric transport a normal, everyday option in Guernsey. By placing vehicles where people actually need them, we’re helping reduce reliance on private cars while making travel simpler and more affordable.
“Expanding into locations like this is about building a transport system that works better for island life — reducing congestion, lowering emissions and making better use of limited space.”
