Jersey Sport has awarded £45,000 to 17 local sport organisations through Round 2 of the 2025 Supportin Sport Fund, bringing the fund’s total investment in local sport to £179,000 for 2025.
Launched in 2024, the fund was made possible by a generous legacy from the late Valerie Guy and continues to inspire and strengthen our island’s sporting community.
The Supportin Sport Fund was established to help clubs, associations and organisations across the Island grow participation, enhance member experiences and strengthen long-term sustainability.
Following the success of Round 1 earlier this year-during which more than £134,000 was awarded to 26 organisations, Round 2 continues to back projects that remove barriers to participation, develop volunteers and coaches, improve facilities, and expand opportunities for active living.
The 17 successful Round 2 applicants are:
- Jersey Gymnastics Club
- Jersey Netball Association
- Jersey Race Club
- Jersey Touch Association
- Jersey Triathlon Club
- Jersey Volleyball Association
