Hawk has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Derek McKeown as Commercial Director, bringing over 25 years of experience in the offshore finance sector to the role.
Derek’s career has spanned private banking, wealth management, and alternative investments, supporting clients in international markets. His portfolio includes private clients, family offices, fiduciary specialists, and professional advisers.
Throughout his career, Derek has been at the forefront of delivering bespoke lending solutions. He believes that, when structured correctly, lending can be a powerful tool in helping clients grow their businesses and build personal net worth. He is equally attuned to the challenges presented by today’s fast-changing markets, where client circumstances, regulatory pressures, and attitudes to risk can shift rapidly.
